How did this happen and how in the world was I going to cook meals that would satisfy everyone?

Was I destined to be a slave over my stove? Were we ever going to be able to eat out again?

How was I going to practically and emotionally support my children with this (supposedly) lifelong diagnosis?

These questions began to swirl in my head once I realized that the roots of my children’s physical and behavioral symptoms were food-related (read My Story HERE). I felt pressure to start helping them immediately, now that I knew what the problem was – but at the same time, I was totally lost, scattered, and still grieving what I thought we would lose as a family once the necessary changes were made.

Over the next several years, I found the answers to these questions in my journey to becoming a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (read about what nutritional therapy is HERE).

And most importantly…my little family found relief and peace.

From the other side, it breaks my heart that many people and families struggling with the effects of food-related issues (anything from sugar addiction and digestive disorders, to mood and behavioral disorders) still don’t know the role nutrition plays.

But it seriously gets me going when those same people finally get that missing piece, and instead of being able to relax because they’ve completed the puzzle, they get hit with overwhelm and hopelessness because they see there’s a whole new game they need to start playing: healing with nutrition.

That’s what my work’s all about: being there for individuals struggling with fatigue, autoimmunity, etc., and families with Autistic or ADHD children. From 1-on-1 sessions to cooking GAPS™ meals for families (see my services HERE), I’ve got you. I know how you feel, what you need, and how beautifully important it is for you to embark on this journey.
